Help
Raise Money to Aid in the Fight of Children’s
Cancer!
The week of November 17th – November
22nd, all Shining Star, Kinderstar Level 2,
Boys Stunt Squad, Trampoline & Tumbling classes,
and ASGA team members will be participating in a cartwheel-a-thon
to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
Click
here to download sponsor form
ASGA’s goal is to raise over $3,500, last year’s
total, for Alex’s Lemonade Stand to help fight
childhood cancer.
Teaching kids about charity is a valuable lesson
for both you and the children. It is important that
children learn at an early age to be considerate of
others and to show compassion. When you educate children
regarding charity, you teach them important life lessons.
Most kids can more readily relate to other children
who are hurting. Involving kids in programs that help
other kids may be the perfect way to instill a lifelong
attitude of giving to charity. This fundraiser is a
great way for all of us to give back to our community.
Prizes:
- 1st Prize – Nintendo DS Lite
- 2nd Prize – T-Mobile Sidekick Cell Phone
- 3rd Price – Ipode Shuffle
PLUS…
- 3 leotards will be raffled off to all female participants!
- Free tuition for Term 3 (value of $132) will be
raffled off to
all Stunt Squad participants!
In
2000, a 4 year old cancer patient named Alexandra "Alex"
Scott announced a seemingly simple idea -she was holding
a lemonade stand to raise money to help "her doctors"
find a cure for kids with cancer. The idea was put into
action by Alex and her older brother, Patrick, when
they set up the first "Alex's Lemonade Stand for
Childhood Cancer" on their front lawn in July of
2000.
